Magnesia chrome brick
Introduction
Magnesia chrome brick is a basic refractory brick, used high purity composite spinel as raw material. Periclase and composite spinel (XO.Y2O3). XO means MgO and FeO, while Y2O3 points to Cr2O3, Al2O3, Fe2O3. Based on different making method of magnesia chrome brick, there have several types magnesia chrome bricks: semi-rebonded magnesia chrome brick, common magnesia chrome brick, fused cast magnesia chrome brick, pre-reaction magnesia chrome brick, direct bonded magnesia chrome, unfired, etc.

Application
Magnesia chrome brick mainly be used at burning zone in cement rotary kiln. Due to the prevalence of environmental protection concepts, magnesia chrome brick in modern cement kiln has gradually been replaced by magnesia spinel bricks which do not contain chromium.
