Introduction
Silica
mullite chooses high quality mullite and first-grade silicon carbide as
its raw material, adding some auxiliary materials like zircon
sand, grinding additive and so on to optimize its internal structure.
Characteristics
1. High refractoriness under load. (actual test RUL data is >1680℃ )
2. Strong mechanical strength, good anti-stripping and well wear resistance
3. Low thermal conductivity, good heat insulation capability
4. Good thermal shock resistance
5. Moderate density which can reduce load for the kiln shell

Application
Silica mullite brick mainly be used in cement rotary kiln. Based on the strict requirement from cement rotary kiln, HCR-I si-mo brick mainly be used for transition zone and cooling zone; HCR 1650/1680 usually be used in preheating zone, calcining zone, wear resistance pier, tertiary air duct bend zone in decomposition furnace; HCR-1450/1550 can be used in preheating zone, calcining zone, high-wear part of grate cooler and other parts where be wash against high speed wind and so on.
